Setting: Multispecialty physician group of over 1,800 physicians at the Lutherville-Timonium Medical Center, operating at Baltimore Washington Medical Center and St. Joes Medical Center. Uses a comprehensive EHR.
The work: Primary and revision hip and knee cases, clinic with CNA and RN support, PA oversight in clinic, and collaboration with arthroplasty partners.
Schedule: Dedicated OR time 1-2 days per week plus clinic days.
Patients: Kaiser Permanente patients needing primary and revision hip and knee surgery; clinic days of 20-30 patients.
What the pay includes: Starting salary of $575,000, with a pathway to become a shareholder of MAPMG. Board certification costs reimbursed 100% and CME reimbursement.
Requirements: MD or DO, board certified or eligible in Orthopedic Surgery, Adult Reconstruction Fellowship, and licensed or able to obtain licenses in DC, Maryland and Virginia.
