The work: General orthopedic clinic plus surgery, with approximately 60% shoulder cases including shoulder arthroplasty.
Schedule: 1.0 FTE, 40 hours per week; average of one surgical session and 4 clinic sessions per week.
Patients: A diverse mix of general orthopedic patients in clinic; approximately 60% shoulder surgical cases including shoulder arthroplasty.
What the pay includes: Starting salary of $575,000, not based on individual services; CME reimbursement, 100% reimbursement for board certification, and a pathway to become a shareholder.
Requirements: MD or DO; board certified or eligible in Orthopedic Surgery; fellowship trained in Shoulder Reconstruction and/or General Sports Medicine; licensed or able to obtain licenses in DC, Maryland, and Virginia.
