Setting: Two outpatient pre-operative medicine clinics at Kaiser Sunnyside and Westside Medical Centers in a multispecialty group of 1,500+ physicians; Epic EMR.
The work: History and physical, ordering and interpreting labs and imaging, and determining medical optimization before surgery; coordinating with surgeons, anesthesiologists and PCPs; assisting with the Senior Surgical Care Program.
Schedule: .90 FTE 4-day work week (Full Time); must support both clinic locations.
Call: No call duties required.
Patients: Complex adult patients with multiple co-morbid conditions scheduled for surgery, including seniors through the Senior Surgical Care Program.
What the pay includes: Salary of $219,690 - $247,230 for .9 FTE; up to a $50K signing bonus; relocation allowance up to $15,000; annual education allowance and CME reimbursement. Total Rewards value range of $285,990 - $343,000.
Requirements: Board Certified or Eligible in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine or a Medicine sub-specialty; geriatrics fellowship preferred, not required; interest in leadership preferred.
