Setting: Kaiser Permanente integrated, multi-specialty group of 1,500 physicians, surgeons, and clinicians caring for 630,000 members in Oregon and Southwest Washington. Uses Epic EMR.
The work: Routine exams including all refractions, mostly pediatric patients with some adult strabismus; weekly ROP rounding at the Sunnyside NICU; optional 1/2-day surgery block on Tuesday mornings; partner with Optometry for pediatric patients.
Schedule: 1.00 and 0.9 FTE, full-time preferred. Open to part-time (3 days per week plus NICU rounding required).
Call: Participates in general comprehensive call rotations.
Patients: Mostly pediatric patients with some adult strabismus, including higher-acuity disease and NICU infants for Retinopathy of Prematurity.
Requirements: Board Certified or Eligible in Ophthalmology; fellowship training in Pediatric Ophthalmology.
