- Setting
- Department of 70+ physicians and 50+ CRNAs in a team model, across 6 operating sites (3 hospitals, 3 outpatient centers); main campus is San Diego Medical Center. Travel between Otay and San Marcos expected.
- The work
- Primarily inpatient anesthesia cases, mostly solo without supervising CRNAs or residents. Includes out of the OR cases for Gastroenterology, Radiology and Interventional Radiology.
- Schedule
- Per diem with a minimum monthly commitment of mid-week work and occasional weekend work.
- Call
- Night calls are not expected of per diems.
- Patients
- Pediatrics, Gynecology, General Surgery, Neurosurgery, Vascular, Thoracic and Orthopedic cases; no Cardiac, Trauma, Transplant or obstetric anesthesia.
- Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible. External hires must pass a background check/drug screen.
