- Academic residency based at a new 18000 square foot Family Practice Clinic with 18 exam rooms and 2 procedure rooms, with inpatients at the 280-bed St. Tammany Parish Hospital. EPIC EMR.
- The work
- Outpatient clinic, precepting residents, academic teaching, and care on a dedicated inpatient Family Practice service.
- Schedule
- 4 half-days/week clinic, 4 half-days/week precepting residents, 2 academic half days/week unless on inpatient service. Alternative scheduling and work hours available.
- Call
- No inpatient call.
- Patients
- Ambulatory and inpatient patients; clinic patients are admitted to the Family Practice service. FMOB physicians are eligible.
- What the pay includes
- Salary commensurate with experience and training; no productivity component. 10 days of paid CME with a stipend annually and relocation assistance.
- Requirements
- Board Certified/Eligible in Family Medicine, with interest in academic medicine.
