- The work
- Daytime coverage of outpatient and inpatient diagnostic exams and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures. Resident supervision and academic duties at Jefferson Highway; potential Section Head role.
- Schedule
- Part time or full time, daytime coverage. Remote opportunities available, though not for residents of certain states.
- Call
- Dual ABR/ABNM certified physicians cover about 1 in 8 weekends in house and one late shift (12 noon – 8 pm) per month. Otherwise no after hours or weekend coverage, with salary adjusted.
- Patients
- Outpatient and inpatient diagnostic nuclear medicine, PET/CT and therapeutic procedures, including a Neuroendocrine Tumor program.
- What the pay includes
- Salary, with adjustment for those without after hours or weekend coverage. Relocation assistance and paid CME.
- Requirements
- BC/BE with nuclear medicine fellowship training and American Board of Nuclear Medicine certification. Dual ABR certification adds weekend and late shift coverage.
