- Setting
- Hospital-based imaging departments, outpatient imaging centers and academic medical centers, with remote/teleradiology interpretation as applicable.
- The work
- Interpret MSK and general diagnostic imaging, consult referring physicians, join multidisciplinary conferences and peer review. May perform joint injections, aspirations, biopsies and ablations; teach trainees; research optional.
- Call
- Departmental call rotation as assigned, including after-hours consultation for urgent MSK studies and trauma and emergency imaging coverage as required.
- Patients
- Patients with diseases and injuries of bones, joints, muscles, tendons, ligaments and soft tissues, in a high-volume environment.
- Requirements
- MD or DO, accredited Diagnostic Radiology residency and MSK Imaging fellowship, BC/BE in Diagnostic Radiology, eligible for unrestricted licensure and privileges; DEA if procedures require. CAQ preferred.
