CRNA role administering anesthesia under the medical direction of staff anesthesiologists at Prisma Health's Hillcrest/Simpsonville Medical Campus. Covers preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative care plus emergent airway response within the facility.
- Setting
- Hillcrest/Simpsonville Medical Campus, Greenville Anesthesiology practice.
- The work
- Formulates anesthetic plans with the anesthesiologist, performs IV and arterial lines, airway management, induction, blocks and general anesthesia, documents care and charges, and performs point of care testing.
- Schedule
- Variable shift.
- Call
- May be on-call, either in-house or from home, as required by the facility.
- Patients
- Patients undergoing medical and surgical procedures; emergent airway management within the facility as needed.
- Requirements
- Master's Degree in Nurse Anesthesia (or CRNA graduated before December 31, 2003 from an accredited program), SC RN Advance Practice license and CRNA certification. No previous experience required.
