CRNA role administering anesthesia for medical and surgical procedures under the medical direction of staff anesthesiologists at the Hillcrest/Simpsonville Medical Campus with Greenville Anesthesiology, Prisma Health. Includes emergent airway management and line placement; no previous experience required.
- Setting
- Hillcrest/Simpsonville Medical Campus, Greenville Anesthesiology practice.
- The work
- Formulates anesthetic plans with the anesthesiologist, administers anesthesia, places IV and arterial lines, manages airways and blocks, documents care and charges, and performs point of care testing.
- Call
- May be on-call, either in-house or from home, as required by the facility.
- Patients
- Patients undergoing medical and surgical procedures across preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative phases; emergent airway management within the facility.
- Requirements
- Master's Degree in Nurse Anesthesia (or CRNA graduated before December 31, 2003 from an accredited program), SC RN Advanced Practice license and CRNA certification. No previous experience required.
