CRNA role administering anesthesia for medical and surgical procedures under the medical direction of staff anesthesiologists at Baptist Easley Med Campus. The role includes emergent airway management within the facility and possible on-call duty.
- Setting
- Hospital: Baptist Easley Med Campus, Oconee Anesthesiology.
- The work
- Formulates anesthetic plans with the anesthesiologist, places IV and arterial lines, performs airway management, induction, blocks and general anesthesia, documents anesthesia care, and performs point of care testing.
- Schedule
- Variable shifts.
- Call
- May be on-call, either in-house or from home, as required by the facility.
- Patients
- Patients undergoing medical and surgical procedures across preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative phases.
- Requirements
- Master's Degree in Nurse Anesthesia (or CRNA graduated before December 31, 2003 from an accredited program), SC RN Advanced Practice license and CRNA certification. No previous experience required.
