CRNA role administering anesthesia under the medical direction of staff anesthesiologists at Oconee Medical Campus with Prisma Health. The role covers preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative care, including emergent airway management.
- Setting
- Oconee Medical Campus, Oconee Anesthesiology practice.
- The work
- Formulates anesthetic plans with the anesthesiologist, administers anesthesia (airway management, induction, blocks, general), places IV and arterial lines, documents care and charges, and performs point of care testing.
- Schedule
- Variable shift.
- Call
- May be on call, either in-house or from home, as required by the facility.
- Patients
- Patients undergoing medical and surgical procedures relevant to the facility, plus emergent airway management within the facility.
- Requirements
- Master's Degree in Nurse Anesthesia (or CRNA graduated before December 31, 2003 from an accredited program), SC RN Advanced Practice license and CRNA certification. No previous experience required.
