CRNA role administering anesthesia for medical and surgical procedures under the medical direction of staff anesthesiologists at Greenville Memorial Hospital. Covers preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative care, plus emergent airway response within the facility.
- Setting
- Greenville Memorial Hospital, Greenville Anesthesiology practice.
- The work
- Forms anesthetic plans with the anesthesiologist, places IV and arterial lines, performs airway management, induction, blocks and general anesthesia, documents anesthesia care and charges, and does point of care testing.
- Schedule
- Variable shift.
- Call
- May be on-call, either in-house or from home, as required by the facility.
- Patients
- Patients undergoing medical and surgical procedures, across age groups; includes emergent airway management.
- Requirements
- Master's Degree in Nurse Anesthesia (or CRNA graduated before December 31, 2003 from an accredited program), SC RN Advanced Practice license and CRNA certification. No previous experience required.
