About this job
Nocturnist role with St. Jude Heritage Medical Group at Providence St. Jude Medical Center in Fullerton, California, joining a team of 23 physicians. The schedule is 3 to 4 consecutive nights followed by 7 days off, with an on-site intensivist 24/7.
- Setting
- Providence St. Jude Medical Center, a 320-bed acute care hospital, Magnet designated and a cardiovascular and stroke receiving center. Interventional radiology and pharmacy are in the building.
- The work
- Inpatient night coverage with an average of 8 admissions per night plus cross-coverage. Codes are run by the ER and ICU. Leadership opportunities available.
- Schedule
- 3 to 4 consecutive nights of work followed by 7 days off.
- Call
- No additional on-call duties after the shift.
- Patients
- Inpatient adults; average of 8 admissions per night along with cross-coverage.
- What the pay includes
- $298,805 to $384,639 per year, guaranteed salary and annual bonus program, sign-on bonus and relocation assistance. May include productivity or quality incentives, call pay, extra shift incentives; CME may be available. PSLF eligible.
- Requirements
- Board-certified or board-eligible. Experienced physician preferred, but new graduates will be considered.
