- Multispecialty group with an adjoining 56-bed Children's Hospital: 24-bed level 3 NICU, 8 bed PICU, 26 pediatric acute beds, more than 40 pediatric specialties, ACS Verified Level 2 Pediatric Trauma Program.
- The work
- Outpatient general Pediatric Neurology, epilepsy, headaches, CP and movement disorders, plus inpatient PICU, NICU and Pediatrics consults. Outreach to other sites anticipated; involvement in education and research encouraged.
- Schedule
- Full time with part time possible; option of a 4 or 5-day work week.
- Call
- Call is 1:3 weeks; Pediatric Hospitalists take initial call on evenings, nights and weekends and call you only as a consultant if needed. No parent phone calls.
- Patients
- Pediatric patients, outpatient and inpatient consults in PICU, NICU and Pediatrics, from a large referral base in Central and Western Wisconsin.
- What the pay includes
- CME allowance and relocation allowance. Non-profit 501(c)(3) employer, which may qualify for state and/or federal education loan forgiveness programs.
- Requirements
- BC/BE in Pediatric Neurology; subspecialty expertise valuable but not required. H1B or J1 visas accepted.
