About this job

Setting: Hospital-based OB/GYN hospitalist program in Sacramento with an active, high-acuity L&D unit, Maternal Fetal Medicine and Gyn Onc available; uses EPIC.
The work: Manage births with Certified Nurse Midwives, evaluate non-labor patients in OBED triage, admit unassigned patients, perform GYN procedures and surgeries, and co-manage high-risk antepartum patients with MFM.
Schedule: Guaranteed 12-hour day and night shifts; three in-house OB/GYN hospitalists on shift 24/7. Full-time and part-time opportunities also available.
Patients: Labor and delivery, OBED triage, unassigned ("no doc") patients, GYN surgical patients and high-risk antepartum patients.
What the pay includes: Per diem pay of DAY - $2,948 per shift and NIGHT - $3,390 per shift (12-hour shifts), with a nighttime differential.
Requirements: Board-certified/eligible OB/GYN physician.
