- Sutter Health's flagship hospital, CPMC, in San Francisco, with a closed ICU and a full complement of consult services, radiology and inpatient pharmacy.
- The work
- Manage medically complex inpatients, integrating general and perioperative medicine, liver disease, complex GI, advanced heart failure, specialty cardiac care and end-organ disease management. No ICU rounding.
- Schedule
- Day shifts 8am - 6pm or swing shifts (M-F 12pm-10pm & Weekends 4pm-11pm). Night weekday shifts 12 hours (8pm-8am) or weekend shifts 14 hours (6pm-8am).
- Patients
- A diverse panel of transplant, hepatology, gastroenterology, cardiology, nephrology and general internal medicine patients.
- What the pay includes
- $195 per hour for day and swing shifts; $215 per hour for night and weekend shifts, with eHospitalist cross coverage from 6pm-2am. Independent contractor agreement.
- Requirements
- BC/BE in Internal Medicine and an active, unrestricted CA medical license. Tertiary care experience highly preferred.
