About this job

Setting: Multi-specialty medical group of over 1,600 clinicians across seven counties in northern California, most within a 50-mile radius of Sacramento. Clinical work in acute care inpatient settings and ambulatory surgery centers; EMR is EPIC.
The work: Lead anesthesiology strategy and development across the anesthesia service footprint, including developing and deploying a near-term strategy to hire CRNAs. Provide shift-based clinical anesthesia care.
Schedule: 0.5 aFTE administrative plus 0.1–0.5 FTE flexible, shift-based clinical practice, with options at multiple sites including Davis and Elk Grove.
What the pay includes: Administrative compensation plus clinical compensation depending on clinical FTE, with a productivity component in clinical pay. Relocation assistance for qualified applicants and CME allowance.
Requirements: BE/BC in Anesthesiology, minimum 5 years of clinical practice, minimum 2 years of progressive medical group leadership, and experience working with CRNAs.
