- Clinic on the main campus of MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center, a 342-bed regional referral teaching hospital and Level III Trauma Center with a Level II NICU and 2 Da Vinci XI robots.
- The work
- Primarily clinic with surgery, with designated robotic OR block time. Teaching opportunity with FM residents and medical students. Team of 1 OBGYN, OB hospitalists, 4 APPs and 2 midwives.
- Schedule
- Clinic with surgery 4.5 days/week, 12 hour day shift. Full-time and part-time available with flexible scheduling.
- Call
- No call; no nights, weekends or holidays.
- Patients
- Birth center does about 500-600 births per year; perinatology consultation available.
- What the pay includes
- 2-year income guarantee $400,000/year plus productivity incentives; $370,000 bonus package ($120k sign-on + $250k retention); $6,000 annual CME; up to $15,000 moving allowance; PSLF eligible.
- Requirements
- BC/BE, board certified within 3 years of becoming eligible. Iowa license or eligible, Iowa Controlled Substance and DEA certificates. H1B & J1 visa waiver candidates encouraged.
