- 622 bed Level II Trauma center with a tertiary service area of 1.5 million, closed ICUs including a dedicated Neuro Trauma ICU, and a Primary Stroke Center. EMR: CERNER moving to EPIC Fall 2025.
- The work
- Clinic and operative neurosurgery with APPs as primary assist on daily inpatient rounding. Dedicated Clinic RN for each physician; spine center integrated with Pain and PMR.
- Schedule
- Full time. Two Clinic Days/3 OR Days, with block scheduling.
- Call
- Call 1:4 with APP taking 1st call. No elective cases or clinic while on Trauma Call.
- Patients
- Case mix includes complex spine, neurovascular conditions, brain and a busy trauma service.
- What the pay includes
- Base salary of $1.1 million with 2-yr income guarantee, $100,000 bonus, moving allowance $15,000 and CME $5000.
- Requirements
- BC/BE Neurosurgeon.
- Benefits named
- Time off 31 days up to 35 days per year, malpractice with tail coverage and 403(b).
