About this job

Setting
Hospital-attached outpatient practice with onsite Radiation Oncology (an outreach of the University of Iowa); working towards COC accreditation. Supported by four RNs, MA, CNA and a receptionist.
The work
Outpatient hematology and medical oncology, split 30/70 between Hematology and Medical Oncology, at the Davenport and Clinton clinics. Hospitalists cover infusions if needed and provide inpatient support.
Schedule
Full time, day shift. New patient visits are 30 minutes and follow-ups 15 minutes.
Call
Shared call; after-hour calls are by phone only and very minimal.
Patients
Average of 30 patients per day, with internal referrals from the MercyOne Medical Group primary care network.
What the pay includes
Base guarantee of $800k years 1 & 2, $600k plus wRVU year 3; $150,000 commencement bonus; relocation allowance up to $15,000; CME allowance of $6,000; eligibility for Public Service Loan Forgiveness.
Requirements
MD or DO, BE/BC in Hematology/Oncology, and unrestricted licenses in both Iowa and Illinois with current prescribing authority. J-1 and H1-B candidates welcome to apply.
