Inpatient orthopedic trauma surgery on complex cases, working with trauma, anesthesia, orthopedics and critical care, with postoperative clinic support and dedicated APP support.
Schedule
Full time, 100% inpatient, Monday–Friday, 8–5.
Call
Shared evening and weekend call (1:8).
Patients
Orthopedic trauma inpatients, including complex cases.
What the pay includes
Two-year guaranteed salary of $730,000 plus production, then straight production from year 3; potential $1M+ annually; $100,000 recruitment incentive; relocation up to $15,000; $6,000 annual CME allowance.
Requirements
MD or DO; fellowship in Orthopedic Traumatology or Adult Reconstruction/Total Joint Arthroplasty; ABOS BC/BE; able to obtain Iowa and Illinois licenses. Graduating fellows and experienced surgeons considered.
