Two community hospitals, a 366-bed medical center and a 100-bed facility, 15 minutes apart, in a non-profit regional system. No surgery centers.
The work
Manage your own anesthesia cases independently alongside anesthesiologists and CRNAs.
Schedule
Full time with a 10-hour shift model; 9 weeks of paid vacation annually, equivalent to 12 weeks off.
Call
Call is part of the role, with extra pay for additional call coverage and post-call work.
Patients
Case mix includes general surgery, orthopedics, spine, ENT, urology, ophthalmology, pediatrics, OB, bariatric, IR, cranial and spine neurosurgery, EP lab and podiatry. No open-heart cases.
What the pay includes
$600K guaranteed salary with income potential up to $680K, $150K in bonuses, extra pay for overtime, post-call and extra call, vacation buy-back, $15K relocation, $6,000 annual CME, PSLF eligibility.
