The work
Inpatient orthopedic trauma surgery on complex cases, working with trauma, anesthesia, orthopedics and critical care teams, with dedicated trauma OR block time and help building the program.
Schedule
Full time, 100% inpatient, Monday–Friday, 8–5.
Call
Shared evening and weekend call (1:8).
Patients
Orthopedic trauma patients, including complex and diverse cases.
What the pay includes
Two-year guaranteed salary of $730,000 plus production, then straight production from year 3; potential to earn $1M+ annually; $100,000 recruitment incentive; relocation up to $15,000; $6,000 annual CME allowance.
Requirements
MD or DO; fellowship in Orthopedic Traumatology or Adult Reconstruction/Total Joint Arthroplasty; ABOS board certified or eligible; able to obtain Iowa and Illinois licenses. Graduating fellows and experienced surgeons considered.
