- Setting
- Academic, non-profit hospital with 19 anesthesiologists and 49 CRNAs; nearly 10,000 births a year and a NICU treating more than 1,500 babies each year.
- The work
- Provide general and obstetric anesthesia care and supervise CRNAs at a 3:1 concurrency target. Academic appointment included.
- Schedule
- Daylight coverage M-F 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM (General); M-F 6:30 AM – 7:30 PM (OB).
- Call
- All days: beeper call and in-house OB call, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM.
- Patients
- Obstetric patients plus a broad variety of cases, including all major adult subspecialty care.
- What the pay includes
- Base salary, additional premiums, relocation expense reimbursement, CME allowance and opportunities for additional earnings; 403(b) with 50% employer match plus employer-paid pension.
- Requirements
- Board-certified or board-eligible in anesthesiology; unrestricted Pennsylvania license or eligibility. Fellowship training or substantial experience in obstetric anesthesiology required.
