About this job

Setting
Closed ICUs across three community hospitals: Daytona Beach (367-bed tertiary, 32-bed Med/Surg ICU, new 16-bed Neuro ICU), Palm Coast (18-bed ICU) and Palm Coast Parkway (10-bed ICU). EPIC EMR. None are trauma centers.
The work
Full-scope critical care across medical/surgical and neuro-critical care ICUs, rotating across facilities, with a team of 10 Critical Care physicians and 12 Advanced Practice Providers.
Schedule
182 shifts per year, 7 on / 7 off, primarily 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM.
Call
Shared in-house night coverage; with two added physicians, nights rotate about one week every six work cycles (approximately every 12 calendar weeks).
Patients
Medical/surgical and neuro-critical care ICU patients; Daytona Beach is a comprehensive stroke center with cardiovascular and neuroscience programs.
What the pay includes
Base salary, quality and productivity incentive program, sign-on and relocation bonus, CME allowance.
Requirements
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Critical Care Medicine; Neuro-Critical Care board eligibility/certification preferred. Florida medical license and DEA license (or ability to obtain).
