Virtual hospitalist role in the Section of Hospital Medicine at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist, Winston-Salem, NC, caring for patients admitted to the system's hospitals. The program pairs virtual physician coverage with on-site clinical support and APP supervision.

- Virtual Hospital Program covering patients physically admitted to hospitals throughout the Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist market, with on-site clinical support.

- Evaluate, diagnose and treat inpatients virtually, order and interpret tests, prescribe therapies, supervise advanced practice providers, consult with teams, keep medical records, and join Virtual Hospital business meetings.
- Patients
- Hospital inpatients with acute illnesses needing inpatient-level medical care.
- What the pay includes
- CME allowances and relocation assistance.
- Requirements
- MD, DO or equivalent; eligible for unrestricted North Carolina license; current or eligible DEA; inpatient privileges at participating hospitals. At least two years of hospitalist and telemedicine experience preferred.
