Full-time hybrid inpatient/outpatient endocrinology position with Atrium Health Endocrinology in Concord, NC. The posting emphasises a Monday–Friday clinic schedule with no routine night rotation and shared 1-in-8 hospital coverage.
- Setting
- Established endocrinology practice with 7 physicians, 1 APP, and 3 RNs; hospital privileges at Atrium Health Cabarrus, which has an open ICU.
- The work
- Outpatient endocrinology clinic plus inpatient hospital coverage and weekend rounding on rotation. No procedures required.
- Schedule
- Full-time, Monday through Friday clinic hours, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with 32 patient-contact hours per week.
- Call
- Hospital coverage and weekend rounding approximately 1 out of every 8 weeks; no routine night rotation.
- Patients
- During inpatient coverage, average rounding volume of approximately 20–25 patients per day.
- What the pay includes
- Salary guarantee with opportunity for RVU incentives; CME allowances and relocation assistance.
- Requirements
- MD or DO, board certified in Endocrinology; North Carolina and South Carolina licensure; able to obtain privileges at Atrium Health Cabarrus. New graduates will be considered.
