Full-time General Surgeon at Ascension All Saints Hospital in Racine, Wisconsin, with a mix of general surgery and trauma cases. The role offers a $50,000 sign-on bonus and 1:4 call alongside 4 surgeons and 4 APCs.
- Setting
- Hospital-based practice at Ascension All Saints Hospital, in a Health Professional Shortage Area and/or Medically Underserved Area. Team of 4 Surgeons and 4 Advanced Practice Providers.
- The work
- Surgical evaluation and treatment across inpatient and outpatient settings, coordinating discharge planning with case management, quality improvement and cost-effectiveness work, and documentation.
- Schedule
- Full time: 36 clinical/surgical hours plus 4 administrative hours weekly.
- Call
- 1:4 call rotation.
- Patients
- Varied case mix of general surgery and trauma cases, inpatient and outpatient.
- What the pay includes
- $50,000 sign-on bonus, $10,000 relocation allowance, RVU productivity incentives, $4,000 CME allowance, and malpractice coverage with tail.
- Requirements
- MD or DO required before hire date. Advanced Life Support (AHA or American Red Cross) preferred. No work experience required.
