- Setting
- 197-bed pediatric hospital with a 109-bed Level IV NICU, 23 PICU beds and pediatric trauma services, in a nonprofit health system. Clinic has 10 exam rooms; Athena (clinic) and Sunrise Clinical Manager (inpatient) EMR.
- The work
- Outpatient, inpatient and new patient endocrine care, hospital consultations, and helping with pre-diabetes, lipid or metabolic bone clinics. Clinical oversight of nurse practitioners and triage nurses.
- Call
- 1 week once every 3 weeks, averaging 1-2 phone calls per night.
- Patients
- Pediatric endocrine patients, inpatient and outpatient, in a service area of approximately 2 million.
- Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Endocrinology with fellowship training; MD or DO; Indiana medical license before hire and DEA registration eligibility. Advanced Life Support preferred.
