- Lead a group of 6 faculty physicians, 3 APPs and 1 fellow; inpatient and outpatient palliative care; develop research programs; possible hospice leadership. Reports to the Chair of Medicine.
- Schedule
- 20% time protected for administrative/leadership duties, with additional protected time possible for research and/or hospice involvement.
- Patients
- Seriously ill patients, with partnerships across Inpatient Medicine, Geriatrics, Oncology and Heart Transplant.
- Requirements
- MD or equivalent doctorate, Texas medical license, board certified or effectively pursuing certification. Preferred: at least 5 years' practice experience, leadership experience, national reputation in the field.
