Employed Otolaryngologist (ENT) role joining an established CHRISTUS Trinity Clinic practice with CHRISTUS St. Michael hospital in Texarkana, Texas. The posting emphasizes RVU-based compensation and an existing referral network and patient demand.
- Setting
- Clinic practice on a campus with two CHRISTUS St. Michael hospitals, including a 311-bed acute care hospital with a Level III Emergency Department. Epic EMR in clinic and hospital.
- The work
- Outpatient clinic and surgery, with room to expand surgical offerings and subspecialty interests. A second Audiologist or APC will be hired to work with the new physician.
- Schedule
- Clinic Monday through Wednesday; Thursday morning OR block followed by clinic; off most Fridays.
- Call
- Current call 1:4, anticipated 1:5. Telephone call only, no ED call requirement; an after-hours triage nurse line assists.
- Patients
- Approximately 30 patients per day in clinic. Common cases: pediatric tubes, impacted ears, tonsils and sinus surgery including balloons; deviated septum when appropriate, no cosmetic surgery.
- What the pay includes
- RVU-based compensation, sign-on and relocation allowance.
- Requirements
- BC/BE, residency trained in Otolaryngology; unrestricted Texas license at start and Texas registered DEA. Residents near graduation encouraged to inquire.
