- Hospital outpatient pain clinic with four procedure rooms, a team of two physicians and four advanced practice providers, at a Level I Trauma and Comprehensive Stroke Center. About 1500 patients per month.
- The work
- Spine procedures such as epidural steroid injections, nerve root blocks and radiofrequency ablations; non-opioid and select opioid medication management; managing intrathecal pain pumps within a multidisciplinary approach.
- Schedule
- Full-time, outpatient service weekdays only.
- Call
- No call on weekends or evenings.
- Patients
- About 1500 patients per month; 20-30 procedures/day across four procedure rooms. Referrals from internal and external providers and Neurosurgery.
- What the pay includes
- $500,000-575,000 annually for the first two years, with potential to exceed from personally performed wRVUs. $100,000 retention incentive if you remain 1.0 FTE for 3 years. Relocation allowance and paid CME.
- Requirements
- BE/BC; completed Pain fellowship and residency in PM&R, Neurology, Psychiatry or Anesthesiology. Comfortable with a broad range of spine procedures; intrathecal pump training available if needed.
