Orthopedic spine surgeon joining Complete Spine Care, a private orthopedic practice with locations in Roseville and Folsom, CA, serving the greater Sacramento region. The role is 100% spine surgery with no mandatory call.
- Setting
- Private physician-led spine practice with 2 fellowship-trained spine surgeons and APC support; privileges primarily at Sacramento-region hospitals, including Sutter Roseville Medical Center. Athena EMR.
- The work
- 100% orthopedic spine surgery, with operating room days, clinic days and administrative time as needed.
- Schedule
- Typically 2-3 operating room days and 2-3 clinic days per week, plus administrative time as needed.
- Call
- No mandatory call; call can be taken if desired.
- Patients
- Commercial, HMO, workers' compensation and private-pay patients; no pediatric cases. About 250-300 surgical cases per year and 10-20 clinic patients per day.
- What the pay includes
- Signing bonus, relocation assistance and CME allowance.
- Requirements
- MD or DO, accredited orthopedic surgery residency, spine surgery fellowship, BC/BE in Orthopedic Surgery, eligible for California licensure. Ideally at least three years of post-training experience.
