Outpatient pain medicine physician at the Utah Valley Pain Management Clinic on the Utah Valley Hospital campus in Provo, Utah. The role combines fluoroscopy, ultrasound and EMG guided procedures with dedicated clinic time, Monday - Friday.
- Setting
- Outpatient pain clinic on the Utah Valley Hospital campus, with an interdisciplinary team of physicians and APPs; part of a not-for-profit system of 33 hospitals and 400 clinics.
- The work
- General outpatient pain care with fluoroscopy, ultrasound and EMG guided procedures plus dedicated clinic time. APPs share a schedule providing clinic support across locations.
- Schedule
- Standing clinic hours, Monday - Friday, 40 hours/week.
- Call
- Clinic call assigned by the Medical Director, with possible coverage at nearby locations in Utah County.
- Patients
- Acute and chronic musculoskeletal, spine, joint and other pain conditions, including cancer, abdominal, pelvic and fibromyalgia pain.
- What the pay includes
- Hourly pay listed as $7.25 - $999.99, dependent on experience. Includes a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance, when applicable, plus an annual CME allowance.
- Requirements
- Board certified or board eligible in PM&R & Pain Medicine; ACGME fellowship-trained in pain medicine; active, unobstructed Utah medical license or ability to obtain one; must complete credentialing.
