Days and swing-shift internal medicine hospitalist role at CPMC, Sutter Health's flagship hospital in San Francisco, working with a transplant group. Patients include transplant, hepatology, GI, cardiology, nephrology and general medicine.
- Setting
- CPMC, Sutter Health's flagship hospital, with a closed ICU and full consult services. Sutter West Bay Medical Group has nearly 500 clinicians. EPIC EMR across clinic and hospital.
- The work
- Oversee inpatient care for medically complex patients, integrating general and perioperative medicine, liver disease, complex GI, advanced heart failure, cardiac care and end-organ disease. No ICU rounding.
- Schedule
- 1.0 FTE is 14 shifts/28 days. Day shifts 8am - 6pm; swing shifts M-F 12pm-10pm and weekends 4pm-11pm. Occasional night shift coverage required.
- Patients
- Diverse panel of transplant, hepatology, gastroenterology, cardiology, nephrology and general internal medicine patients, many medically complex.
- What the pay includes
- $6,000 annual CME allowance, relocation assistance, and 8% employer-funded profit-sharing retirement contribution up to IRS maximums.
- Requirements
- BC/BE in Internal Medicine and an active, unrestricted CA medical license. Tertiary care experience highly preferred.
